It is very important that your blog should be search engine friendly. Blogger has launched some new features, make blogger more search engine friendly.Meta Tag description is very important because it describe the contents of your blog, post or page. When you share a post to social media sites like Facebook, Twitter etc. or if any person find your contents on search engines, its shows as snippets with your contents.

Add Meta Description to Your Blog

• Sign in to Blogger
• Goto Settings > Search Prefrences > Meta Tags > Description
• Click on Edit Link and check the YES radio button to enable Search Description
• Enter your Search Description in the box below
• Click Save Settings Button

Add Meta Description to your Post or Static Page

• First add Meta Description o your blog as mentioned above
• Goto Posts
• Click on Edit Link below posts
• Click on Search Description and type meta description for your post
• Click Done
